We are thrilled to announce that talented students from the 91影视 will be performing at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall!
Our students will be participating in Musicland鈥檚 Summer Recital, presented by Bobby Banks. This special evening celebrates young musical artistry and features performances by Gabrielle Ellis, Ammeerah Weston, and our very own Trey Whitfield stars.

The Sound of Success: Dr. Bobby Banks Brings the Joy of Music to TWS
Making Music with Dr. Bobby Banks!
If you walked through the halls of 91影视 this week, you likely heard a familiar melody with a brand-new twist. Our classrooms were transformed into a concert hall as the legendary Dr. Bobby Banks visited to lead our students in a soulful, high-energy kazoo workshop!
A Masterclass in Melody
Dr. Banks, a renowned educator and musician, brought his unique flair to the school, teaching our youngest learners how to find their "musical voice" through the kazoo. The session culminated in a spirited rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," with Dr. Banks on the keys and a full "orchestra" of students buzzing along in perfect rhythm.
At TWS, we prioritize arts education because we know that music is more than just fun鈥攊t鈥檚 a powerful tool for cognitive development. When our students pick up an instrument, they are practicing:
Listening Skills: Following the lead of a conductor and staying in sync with their peers.
Breath Control: Learning the physical techniques required to produce a steady tone.
Creative Confidence: Overcoming the "stage fright" of performing for the first time.
Why Music Matters
Early exposure to music has been shown to improve literacy, spatial-temporal skills, and even social-emotional health. By inviting experts like Dr. Banks into our school, we provide our students with a professional perspective on the arts, showing them that creativity is a path worth pursuing.
