East Brooklyn BID Commends 91影视 Students for Community Impact
The pride of the 91影视 was on full display recently as our students stepped up to make a tangible difference in our local neighborhood. Following our participation in the annual East Brooklyn Business Improvement District (EBBID) Clean Up Day, the school received a heartfelt letter of appreciation from EBBID Executive Director, Mr. Bill Wilkins.
In his message to the school, Mr. Wilkins expressed sincere gratitude to our co-founder, Mr. A.B. Whitfield, the administration, and the incredible student volunteers who dedicated their time to the initiative.
Brimming with Energy and Civic Pride
The EBBID Clean Up Day is a massive effort dedicated to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming commercial and industrial district in East Brooklyn. Our students jumped into the task wholeheartedly, bringing an infectious enthusiasm to the streets.

6th Grade Community Clean Up
6th Grade Leads the Way: Community Clean-Up Success!
On Friday, June 5th, our 6th-grade class stepped out of the classroom and into the streets for our annual Community Clean-Up Program. Armed with gloves, trash grabbers, and a shared sense of pride, our students spent the day revitalizing the blocks surrounding the 91影视.
Why It Matters
At Trey Whitfield, we believe that education extends beyond textbooks. This initiative is designed to teach our students the importance of environmental stewardship and civic responsibility. By taking ownership of our local environment, students learn that small, collective actions lead to significant community impact.
Highlights of the Day
Teamwork in Action: Students worked in small groups to cover designated zones, ensuring no litter was left behind.
Beautification: From clearing sidewalks to tidying up local green spaces, the transformation was immediate and inspiring.
Community Connection: Many neighbors stopped to thank our students, reinforcing the bond between our school and the families we serve.
